Episode 36: Just For Display

Podcast Our first episode of 2010 comes to you a little bit early. Joe is not with us in this one, he is still out of town enjoying his Christmas holidays. But we did have a special guest sit-in for him... his name is Todd Van Allen, a profession Comedian who just happened to be in Ottawa during the holidays and was kind enough to drop by the studio to guest on Talking Canadian. Check-out his website and subscribe to his podcast if you enjoy listening to funny people!
The show was recorded on New Year's Day (at night) but unfortunately didn't get a chance to publish it until very late on the 2nd... actually started feeling pretty sick before the show (pulled-it off though) and went straight to bed after the recording. Todd was very funny and we all had a blast recording this episode... I wanted to hurry up and publish it as soon as possible but yeah... I was pretty sick.
This episode is almost 2 hrs long and it probably would have been even longer if I was feeling a bit better. But basically this show was about 2 guys and 1 girl talking to a comedian, drinking beer and having a blast!
I think you'll will really enjoy this one!!
Our next TC recording will be on January 12th and we will resume our "every 2nd Tuesday" recording schedule.
Bye for now.

What is with the new intro? I am not sure that I like it. But it's not my podcast.
Now criticism that isn't constructive is like a broken pencil.
Oh, yeah... a broken pencil is "pointless". Thank-you Black Adder.
Mister.
I like the change in intro. Loved the old one, but it's nice to mix things up. What was the other song? Want to get it on my iPod.
and I loved the show. Definitely have Todd back with Joe there.
Don't know if I will keep that intro... it's just that I had promised I would change it in the New Year and didn't really think about what song to use until that night. I heard that song (New Moon Rising by Wolfmother) as the intro to a Sens game (Sportsnet telecast) and I thought it sounded pretty cool.
Regardless, I want to try something new and actually have a new intro song for every show... so e-mail me suggestions and your song may just make it as an intro to one of the episodes.
And pucknut, the other song (outro) was Heavy Cross from Gossip.
Sounds like an opportunity for a contest...
