Episode 25: Seal Can

Monica misses out on yet another recording of Talking Canadian as she's spending some time up north with her folks. Sitting-in for her this time is the "one and only" Brad - the dude we always reference in some of our stories.

One thing for sure, we had one hell of a good time recording this show. There was a lot of drinking during the show but there was also a lot of drinking before the show. Joe was talking more, Keith was feistier and Brad... well was Brad.

We start off by discussing the whole Brandon Blank thing... not sure I like how this whole thing played-out but you'll need to listen to get the whole story on that.

As for the stuff we discussed on this show... who knows!!?? All I know is we did talk about Seals at some point which is the only reason it was chosen as the title for the show. There was no keeping track of topics discussed in this episode... again, the drinking (before and during the show).

Anyway, we had a lot of fun messing with Brad. He didn't want to show it but he did look a little nervous at the start... he was a good sport and we look forward to having him on the show again sometime in the near future.

Hi!

Long time listener, first time poster!

Ben, there is a christmas in summer in Québec. It's called "Noël du Campeur", and it's incredibly "quétaine". I'm not exactly sure if it's on june or july 25th, but people do celebrate it in "campings" (those glorified summer-only trailer parks), probably with "une 24 de 50 tablette" or any other stereotypical québécois white trash beverage... And just to avoid any confusion... NO, I'm not a Québec hater... I'm actually a french speaking quebecer.

Now you know!
