Episode 18: H'air Brushing
Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 11:48PM | in Podcast After coming off what was probably our best show to date, we all showed-up to record Episode 18 with... NOTHING. It's not like our shows are scripted or anything... you regulars already know that but we usually do jot a few things down just in case. Well this was the least prepared we've ever been and yet somehow, still managed to fill over an hour.
We discuss the "contest for a contest" contest we're going to have. Keith started this thing now we have to go through with it. While Keith is out there getting Talking Canadian t-shirts printed, the first part of this contest for a contest thing has already begun. Send us suggestions for a contest we can have where the winner of that contest will win a Talking Canadian t-shirt and whatever contest we end-up having, the person who suggested that contest... well... will win a... Talking Canadian t-shirt.

- Hulk Hogan's comments about his ex-wife

- Billy Bob's embarrasing interview
- How Monica almost burnt her house down
- The CanJet airplane that was hijacked in Jamaica
- Jamaican accents... and the inability for Ben to do any accents what-so-ever (except for Italian accents)
- Booing national anthems *cough* Habs fans *cough*
- The potential video podcast or live streaming of Talking Canadian
- The trick Joe once played on the poor old people at a Bingo hall in Sudbury
... and some other stuff.
It's no Episode 17, but hope you enjoy it none-the-less.

You should look into creating a low-bandwidth version of the podcast for us poor hicks with dial-up. I'm downloading the podcas,t but it should be on my computer... on Friday.
This is the low-bandwidth version. Encoded at 96kbps... any less than that and the audio would sound terrible.

Dangnabbit, I'm going to be in the hospital, far, far away from my computer.... I shall have to enlist my army of hungarian super-spies (they have a hidden agenda! DO you know where it is? IN THEIR POCKETS!) and rabbit-ninjas to smuggle my 1992 applemac with 25 kb dialup connection (oh, you know it's sexy) to me!
OR, alternatively, get a friend to burn it to disk when they decide to come see me.

We're recording it on the 5th at night and it will be release very late that night so expect it first thing in the morning on May 6th.
