Episode 32: Due to Technical Difficulties...
Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 11:54PM | in Podcast For all you Sens Underground listeners, you probably already know that I've been having some technical issues with my new 27" iMac. It seems that there's a bug in the new 27" iMacs where something causes the hard disk to slow down. Changed a couple of things over the weekend and ran a test where I let my software record for over 3 hours and everything seemed to work fine but of course, the issues creeped-up again tonight while recording this episode.
Anyway, we did manage to put a full show together... it's just a little shorter than our typical 1:30 shows.
Monica did not join us tonight - had been suffering from a bad headache all day so she decided to go to bed instead. Meanwhile, we tried our best to put a good show together but it's just not the same without Monica's laughter. Seriously, her laugh gets us going... and well... none of that tonight.
Plus, I was distracted all night monitoring my computer so I could stop & start the recording every time I noticed things getting a little sluggish.
We talked about the H1N1 (of course), flu shots, Halloween, pranks, bad jobs from the past, and a bunch of other things that are just not coming to me right now (it's late).
We of course read listener e-mails and even sang a few too. We were inspired by Keith breaking into song at the start of the show. Kind of ruined some of your well thought-out e-mails by trying to sing them but hey... at least WE had fun!!
Hopefully, things will get back to normal for our next show with Monica back in studio and with my computer issues resolved!?

Even though my "appearance" was short-lived, thanks for having me on the show! I enjoyed it, and I hope you guys get all your technical difficulties figured out.
